Hardscape
We excavate 8 to 10 inches, lay geotextile fabric, then compact a 6 inch base of 2A modified stone in 2 inch lifts. Pavers go down on a 1 inch screeded bed of concrete sand and get locked with polymeric sand.

Hardscape
Every wall gets a compacted stone leveling pad, a perforated drain pipe at the base and 12 inches of clean drainage stone behind it. Walls over 3 feet get geogrid; anything over 4 feet is stamped by a structural engineer, and we pull the permit.

Softscape
Ruth visits, tests the soil and photographs the light at different times of day. You get a scaled plan with every plant named and sized at maturity. We lean on natives that handle our clay soil and the deer.

Evenings
Low-voltage 12 volt LED systems with a stainless transformer, timer and photocell. Cable is buried 6 inches and every connection is sealed. We do a night demo with temporary fixtures before you sign, so you see the effect first.
Spring cleanup from $385
Year round
Spring cleanups run late March through early May: perennials and grasses cut back, beds cleared, hand-cut edges and fresh mulch. Fall cleanups run late October into December, with leaf removal on up to three visits. Pruning is done by hand, never sheared into balls.

Groundwork
Most wet basements and soggy lawns here come from downspouts and grade, not groundwater. We regrade away from the house, run downspouts underground to a pop-up emitter, and put in French drains where water collects.

Book by February 28, 2027 for cleanups between March 23 and May 8, 2027. One per household. Mention the code when you call or paste it into the request form.
