Booked the furnace tune-up online, picked the 8 to 10 window, tech arrived at 8:25. Took about an hour, combustion test printout and all. Easy.
Luis M.Harlan JunctionGoogleFurnaces Replaced a running toilet fill valve and two seized shutoffs. Price was a bit more than I hoped, but they gave it to me before starting and texted the tech's name and photo before he arrived.
Jason W.MillbrookGooglePlumbing Pilot kept going out on our gas water heater. Thermocouple replaced in 30 minutes, $189. They also checked the draft on the vent while they were there.
Kara N.LakesideYelpWater heaters Got three quotes for a new 3 ton system. Summit did an actual load calculation instead of matching the old size, and the price included the pad, disconnect and line set. Installed in one day, crew vacuumed the attic stairs on the way out.
Chris P.MillbrookGoogleAC repair AC stopped on the hottest day of the year. Booked the 2 to 4 window online and Jenna showed up at 3:50. Bad capacitor, $210. Four stars only because I sat on hold about six minutes that morning.
Priya S.AshfordGoogleAC repair AC running but not cooling. Instead of just topping off refrigerant they found the leak at a flare fitting on the line set, fixed it and then charged the system. The other company had just topped it off. Twice.
Mike D.LakesideGoogleAC repair Spring tune-up caught a contactor that was pitted pretty bad. $165 to swap it and the coil got rinsed too. Unit ran fine all summer.
Sam O.Pine HollowGoogleAC repair Switched to tankless. They explained our hard water will scale it up fast and set us up with isolation valves for a yearly flush. Clean install, gas line upsized, permit passed first try.
Moira L.MillbrookYelpWater heaters Slow kitchen drain in an old house with a cast iron stack. They cleared it, ran a camera down the stack and told me it has years left. No sales pitch for a repipe. That is why I will call them again.
Erin K.AshfordGoogleDrains Sump pump died during the March melt with water coming up in the pit. They swapped in a 1/2 hp cast iron pump with a battery backup the same afternoon. $1,150 installed.
Pete G.LakesideGooglePlumbing Kitchen sink backed up the night before my daughter's graduation party, of course. Called at 7, tech was here by 8:30 and cleared it. Showed me the grease he pulled out of the line. Fair price.
Teresa F.Cedar FallsGoogleDrains Main line backed up through the basement floor drain on a Sunday morning. Kyle ran the camera, found maple roots at 42 feet, jetted the line and showed me the video before and after. $495 plus the after-hours fee, done by noon.
Linda M.AshfordGoogleDrains Inducer motor seized on a Monday night, naturally. They had the part on the van and heat back on by 11 pm. $695 with the after-hours fee waived because we are on the Home Plus plan.
Dana R.MillbrookGoogleFurnaces Pipe burst in the crawlspace during the cold snap. They were here in about 90 minutes and repaired it with PEX. Crawlspace insulation is not their trade, but they gave me the name of someone who does it.
Ron E.LakesideGooglePlumbing Furnace quit at 6 am with 14 degrees outside. Marcus was in the driveway at 9:40, replaced a cracked igniter, $245 all in. He left the old part on the counter so I could see the crack.
Greg T.AshfordGoogleFurnaces Fall tune-up on our plan. Marcus cleaned a dirty flame sensor that was making the furnace short cycle and tightened a loose wire on the gas valve. No upsell, just a checklist and photos sent to my email.
Ann B.MillbrookGoogleFurnaces They winterize our cottage every year. Drain the lines, blow them out with air, antifreeze in the traps, water heater drained. $225 and a tag on the main valve so we know what was done.
Sharon V.LakesideAngiPlumbing 1950s house, 40 gallon gas heater leaking from the bottom. Tomas quoted the replacement at the door, installed it the next morning, fixed the old vent pipe that was not up to code and hauled the tank away. They pulled the permit too.
